This term I am finding math the hardest subject. I am normally good at it but I am not good at angles. I like learning about how to identify the different angles. We have'nt done any projects yet so I cant pick a favorite project. I think I can improve by not rushing through my work. If I rush through I will get answers wrong.

2013 is the year of the snake. Our class made year of the snake projects. Everyones is different. Mine is an animoto. I learned how to use clay and make it into a video. I also learned lots about the year of the snake. I learned they are smart, deep thinkers, good looking, etc. I also learned they make good potters, scientists, etc. I really liked this project. Next time I will try to make the pictures a bit nicer and make sure there is nothing in the background like pens or pencils.

LEARNING INTENTIONS: To use the elements of art (line, form, space, shape, colour, and tone), pastels, and proportions in creating a self-portrait using a 'PICASSO-LIKE' style. 


REFLECTIONS: We got to use all the colours to make an abstract style piece of artwork. I learned where to put each part of the face in the right spot. For example the ends of your eyes make a strait line to your ears. I liked getting to learn how to draw a face. what I disliked was how the pastels smudged. To improve my work I could colour a bit neater and make sure it stays in the lines
